Today, on May 6th 2015, Knud Holscher turns 85!
Knud can look back on a truly unique professional career, spanning the last six decades and still going strong. Knud began his career at the studio of Arne Jacobsen and has had a huge impact on Danish architecture as well as design ever since.
Among his architectural feats are St. Catherine’s College in Oxford, parts of Copenhagen Airport and Odense University. In the field of design Knud has been no less successful, being the designer behind – among many others – the world’s most extensive series of stainless steel fittings developed for d line and all sanitary items for Ifö for the last 40 years.
We all wish Knud a very happy birthday!
