Born from the minds of designers Florent Coirier and Stig Myler, Holscher Design, Geometry is a voluminous suspended luminaire that brings generous, uniform lighting to a space. This love marriage between aesthetics and engineering is a custom-made, slim circular LED light panel that pivots inside a round or square-shape frame.
An International Design Story
It’s easy to say Geometry is the child of an international team. Here we have Florent originating from France, Stig representing Denmark, designing both for a Belgian brand. Stig came to us with a circle and the idea of rotation, and Florent added a square and rectangular shape. But both had a common vision…
Dynamic, yet simple
An avid believer in how the quality of light has an impact on our well-being, Designer Stig Myler thought of a circular frame for Geometry. He got the idea that the LED panel would rotate in the frame and create different light effects. What makes Geometry so special for him is its expression of being dynamic, although it is simply floating in the air. He also loves that its light can divide a space in two parts, while leaving a door open between them.
